The autofocus is a strong point of our USM motor equipped lens. The autofocus worked quickly and quietly and missed in 8% of cases – most frequently at the 17 and 85 mm focal lengths and least frequently at the 30 to 50 mm focal lengths.

We didn’t notice any problems with front or back focusing. The results are shown in the picture below.
