Summary:
The filter’s score was 24/45 (53.3%).Taking into account the previous ranking and omitting the homogeneity score, which wasn’t tested before, the Fomei filter would be 14th in the overall ranking.
The filter doesn’t fulfill its purpose as the UV radiation is cut off too late. Apart from that, the lack of 4% of light transmission returns in the shape of reflections and it generates very intense artifacts. We get the lens protection in return but a cap will perform this function even better.
The filter was lent courtesy of the Medikon company.
