In case of full-frame, 35mm lenses tested so far, the distortion totaled from -0.73% to -0.87%. Sigma 1.4/30 showed higher level of the defect (-2.1%), but it was designed for smaller sensors and its focal length is 5mm shorter.

The tested Nikkor is closer to Sigma. It shows noticeable barrel distortion that was measured to be -1.94%. It can be noticed that full-frame lenses perform better in this field.
