Nikon Nikkor AF-S DX 18-200 mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED VR

10. Autofocus

All the new elements (AF-S construction, good D200 body and SWM motor) lead us to offer nothing but compliments about Nikkor's 18-200 mm autofocus. It is fast, quiet and, most of all, very effective. If we follow the error definition which says that the error is present when the resolution of sharpness adjustment is 20% worse than the best result for the particular f-stop, then we have to say that Nikkor, during the whole testing session did not make any error! To add more compliments the Nikkor does not have a tendency for back or front focusing.
