Designed for a full frame the Distagon performs really well on a small format CCD. The vignetting could be troublesome on maximum aperture, where it reaches a large value of 36% (-1.28 EV). Fortunately, stopping down the lens to f/2.8 eliminates the problem almost completely since the light falloff in the corners of the frame drops to 13%. At f/4.0 it is only 7%.
