Pentax has undoubtedly one of the most interesting offers on the market. When we say “the most interesting” we don’t mean “the biggest” or “the most universal” but precisely the most interesting because of a wide range of prime lenses with uncharacteristic parameters. Most of them belong to the cult Limited series and are renowned for its outstanding optical properties. You can mention here such instruments as: a Pentax smc P-FA 31 mm f/1.8, a Pentax smc P-FA 43 mm f/1.9, a Pentax smc P-DA 70 mm f/2.4 limited, already tested by us, or a Pentax smc P-FA 77 mm f/1.8 limited. As I mentioned before, these lenses often have either uncharacteristic focal lengths or relative maximum aperture values.

The Pentax smc P-FA 77 mm f/1.8 limited is considered to be one of the best and the most cult lenses so we decided to test its real possibilities.
