10. Autofocus
The noise level of the autofocus in the 70 mm is similar to that of a 1.4/50 and a bit louder than that of a 2.8/40 LTD. The speed is good but not outstanding – the 40 mm was noticeably quicker.
Because of the bad body work, the lens showed a slight backfocus tendency. There was no objections to repeatability of its work because we got just about 5% of misses in the studio conditions.
