9. Ghosting and flares

There is a surprise waiting here and not a pleasant one. Taking into account the medium field of view and good anti-reflexive layers Canon is famous for, we didn’t expect any problems in this category. Meanwhile, shooting against bright light we didn’t have to wait long to see the effect as presented in the picture below. It is especially visible near the maximum relative aperture.
