5. Chromatic aberration

As in the case of resolution, we can speak only highly of the way the chromatic aberration is corrected. The level of this aberration at 200 and 300 mm is practically imperceptible. At 400 mm the situation is a bit worse but still the aberration level is low there. The worst performance we notice at 100 mm but even there that aberration reaches only the medium and low borderline.

To sum up, the chromatic aberration won’t be a bother in the pictures, taken with the Canon 100-400 mm. A standing ovation!
