6. Distortion
As you can see in the picture below, the Nikkor 1.8/50 has no distortion problem on the small DX sensor. Our impressions are also confirmed by the measurements, which show just traces of barrel distortion amounting to –0.20%.

On the full frame the problem remains marginally small as the distortion increases to just -0.49%.
