Nikon Nikkor AF 24 mm f/2.8D

1 March 2011
Arkadiusz Olech

6. Distortion

According to our expectations the tested 24 mm model fares better than the 20 mm device when it comes to edge of field deformations. The barrel distortion, measured by us, amounted to –1.7% which is not a high level. On the other hand the Canon 2.8/20 mm, despite a wider angle of view, could have a lower level of distortion, amounting to –1.5%.
