Nikon Nikkor AF-S 24 mm f/1.4G ED

6. Distortion

1The Canon EF 24 mm f/1.4L II USM, corrected distortion very well for its angle of view. On full frame the distortion level amounted to –1.26% and on the APS-C sensor it reached –0.79%. The results of the Nikkor in this category are worse but certainly they can’t be described as bad. On full frame we deal with barrel distortion of –2.03% which on the small APS-C/DX sensor decreases to –1.03%.
