5. Chromatic aberration

A photo of our autofocus testing chart, presented in chapter 10, shows clearly that the longitudinal chromatic aberration is not a problem for the tested lens. With such an aperture it would be difficult to expect any problems, though.

When it comes to the lateral chromatic aberration there is nothing to carp about either. It is true that near the maximum relative aperture this aberration reaches the border between medium and high level but fortunately it never crosses it. On stopping down the aperture the aberration decreases slightly so it remains medium for most of the cases.
