10. Focusing

A lens with such parameters as the Samyang 3.5/7.5 really doesn’t need any automatic focus. Already at the maximum relative aperture the depth of field is so extensive that it is enough to set the distance scale at the value of 1.1 meters to enjoy sharp images from 0.55 of a meter to infinity. After implementing f/5.6 aperture and setting the focus at 0.7 of a meter you get a depth of field stretching from 0.35 of a meter to infinity.

When we want to set focus we can use the appropriate ring with a distance scale. Unfortunately the producer didn’t anticipate any place for a depth of field scale. Pity.
