Canon EF 28 mm f/2.8 IS USM

6. Distortion

Geometric deformations are not a huge problem of the tested lens. On the smaller APS-C sensor you get a slight barrel distortion which value we measured as –0.92%. That aberration increases to –1.53% when you pass to full frame. It’s also worth adding that these results are a bit better than in the case of the elderly Canon EF 28 mm f/1.8 USM.
