Panasonic G X VARIO 35-100 mm f/2.8 P.O.I.S.

9. Ghosting and flares

The Panasonic 12-35 mm, tested by us previously, had its most spectacular slip-up in this category exactly – work against bright light, ghosting and flares. Fortunately the 35-100 mm model didn’t follow its suit; still we are not completely pleased with its performance here. Flares and noticeable ghosting appear in photos even if the sun is situated outside the frame. Fortunately we don’t deal here with such intensive and light flares as we observed in pictures taken by the 12-35 mm model.
