6. Distortion

With such a small range of focal lengths and the maximum angle of view amounting to 70 degrees we didn’t expect huge distortion problems and, by and large, we didn’t notice any major issues here; however, you can’t say that aberration is corrected in a perfect way. At 20 mm focal length you have to take into account barrel distortion of −2.86%, which decreases to −1.08% in the middle of the focal range and then to −0.47% at 40 mm.
