The Fujifilm X system lenses can be divided into two groups. Some of them correct the distortion in a proper manner and don’t have to be supported by the camera’s software. The optics of the other ones doesn’t correct the distortion at all and the camera must deal with it.

The Zeiss lens optics manages the distortion well as its level amounts to just +0.70%. Despite that fact the software still tries to help so in JPEG files the level of geometric deformations decreases even further to +0.23%.
