The autofocus in the Canon 28-135 mm could be described as efficient, quite fast and accurate. We were impressed with its accuracy, it missed only in 0.4% of cases in our testing conditions.

If we add that the lens has no tendency of back or front focusing, there is nothing better to say about the tested Canon in this category.
