Cons: For the price I am surprised having distortion (although small) in the whole zooming range. Precision of manual focus including noise characteristics could slightly be improved.

Pros: Great contrast, natural colors, very sharp, good weight for long term usage and image stability on E-1 and E-3. Mechanical stabiltty (Shock and rain). Good handling, although focusing could be a bit quicker. Relatively good optical characteristics already at F=2.0.

Summary: Great Lens which I now use in 90% of all pictures. My old 12...60 SWD gets more and more dust now....

Cons: Heavy, large, expensive

Pros: Stunning overall image quality, creamy bokeh, great zoom range for a "walk-around" lens

Summary: Although expensive, still so amazing that the value can be justified for more serious users.

Cons: Just the cost and weight. A F2 zoom is not small or cheap.

Pros: Everything else.

Summary: F2 and image stabalizing are a great combination.
