Cons: Not very sharp. Visible barrel distortion.
Pros: Small, light, and 24mm (selling point for me!). Mine is sharper in infrared which makes me think my copy is off. Portable; makes a viable 'normal' lens on APS-C.
Summary: The second lens I ever bought and immediately was underwhelmed, except for the angle of view. I go back and forth on whether to sell it... If you can find one for a good price, maybe. A good kick-around lens when you don't want to risk your good glass!

Cons: the corners aren't that sharp at 2.8 and the flare is rather high so you should invest in a hood
Pros: is usable for street photography even open if the corners don't matter that much and when using at f8 landscapes are beautiful sharp from edge to edge - better than most of the zooms
Summary: I like this lens, it's very light, build is good enough and there's not much choice for a full frame camera if you are looking for an affordable but still good wide angle lens - I would advise to rather go with this one and the 1.8/50 instead of a cheap zoom - not to mention the creativity which comes up if you have to move a bit around instead of zooming :)

Cons: Bokeh is fussy wide open, autofocus tends to land on the background rather than the subject. Flares easily, fairly high lateral CA for a prime lens. Moustache distortion on a full frame camera (standard barrel distortion on APS-C).
Pros: Small and relatively light. Sharp in the centre at f/2.8, sharp everywhere at f/5.6. Common 58mm filter thread.
Summary: Perfect full frame landscape lens. Used at f/5.6-11, bokeh isn't an issue, but it's sharp everywhere and the lens is compact for travelling. Great value 2nd hand. Flare is very easy to catch with the large front element requiring careful use, but it can also be used very creatively too.

Cons: Plastic, flimsy costruction.
Pros: Sharp, excellent colour rendition, best bokeh of all the plastic Canon wideangles (20mm f/2.8,24mm f/2.8,28mm f/2.8, 35mm f/2.0). Works with the 5Dmk2 like a charm.
Summary: The best of the cheapo wideangles from Canon.

Summary: For being a prime lens it could be better but for the price is quite good, the noisy and old AF motor is very precise despite being so old.
