Cons: noticable Cromatic Aberration in some contidions, Autofocus slow on my MFT-Bodys (but doesn't matter for my fotography)
Pros: Sharp, Solid, low disortion, absolutely satisfying results
Summary: Why an User Opinion after 6 Years Ownership. Because it is my most used lens (of 9), which I like very much. Like other FT lenses it is well corrected itself.

Cons: Slow aperture, plasticky build.
Pros: Great focal range. Good control of distortion. Very sharp corner to corner. Very light, and takes filters. Good control of flare.
Summary: Great light, relatively cheap ultrawide. It is very sharp and controls distortion well. If you want to try a wide angle lens, few are as competent and affordable.

Cons: Focus by wire. But according to DOF there is nearly no need to focus manually.
Pros: Lightweight, sharp even wide open, very good against light source.

Cons: Slightly slow (faster maximum aperture would be nice for street photography) Focusing could be faster (SWD would be cool) Concerns about long term durability in the field (probably not an issue, and heavier duty construction might add substantial weight)

Summary: Overall the 9-18mm is a winner for me. Its combination of compact size, low price, and good image quality make it an excellent choice for urban cityscape as well as nature landscape photogrpahy.
