1. Introduction

There are a lot of lenses designed for reflex cameras which focal range starts from 70-120 mm and ends at 400 mm. You aren’t just limited to brand name instruments, the independent producers offer them as well. Mirrorless systems, much younger than reflex cameras, had to wait a bit for first lenses of that type but we are very pleased to say they start appearing as well. The Fujinon XF 100–400 mm f/4.5–5.6 R LM OIS, announced in January 2016, is one of them.

Due to flash-quick reaction of Fujifilm Poland  our Editorial Office was able to test that interesting optical instrument thoroughly pretty soon and the results are presented in the following chapters.
