8. Vignetting

The Four-Third system lenses rarely cause troubles with vignetting. In this case we have an instrument of unique brightness in this class, so we were really curious of the results.

Olympus didn’t let us down. At maximum aperture the light falloff in the corners of the frame totals only 15% (-0.47 EV) which is a small value. The problem vanishes entirely with stopping down to f/2.8, because vignetting falls to unnoticeable level of 6%. Again, good job.
