Nikon Nikkor AF-S 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED VR

10. Autofocus

We are not going to write at length here. The SWM motor-based autofocus of the Nikkor is the best 70-300 mm instruments’ focusing mechanism we’ve dealt with so far. It is fast, silent and accurate – sheer pleasure to work with! The number of misses in the studio conditions reached just less than 1% and the lens didn’t show the slightest front or back focus tendency.
