7. Coma, astigmatism and bokeh

As you can notice glancing at the crops below the coma is corrected in a perfect way. In fact we could mix these photos randomly and nobody would tell the difference. The appearance of the diode remains exactly the same in the frame centre, in the corner of the APS-C sensor and in the corner of full frame.

The astigmatism is perhaps corrected in not such a perfect way as the coma but also here it would be difficult to have any reservations. The average difference between vertical and horizontal MFT50 function values amounted to 5.2% which is a result on the borderline between a very good and good level.

The crops below show a defocused image of a diode taken at different apertures in the frame centre, in the corner of the APS-C sensor and in the corner of full frame. You can notice the light is spread homogeneously- there are no pronounced interferences or lighter and darker rings. You can assume that the fuzziness will be nice, pleasing to the eye.
