When it comes to the performance against bright light the Fujinon fares the best at 15 mm – the situation is still acceptable even if far from perfection.
The 30-45 mm range is much weaker. There are a lot of problems, no matter what sun position you try. Even if you put it far away from the frame you still manage to catch red arcs and slight lightening of the image; both of them, of course, are out of place in a perfectly corrected optical instrument.
