10. Autofocus

When the tested lens is attached to the X-T2 its autofocus is fast, efficient and noiseless. Running through the whole distance scale and confirming the focus takes about 0.2-0.3 of a second, no matter in what lighting conditions you work. It is an excellent result.

We also don't have any reservations concerning the accuracy of the focusing mechanism, which was exemplary both in our studio and when we shot outside. Of course the significant depth of field, offered by the tested lens, helps here a lot but if the autofocus fared not so well we would notice it anyway, despite the deep depth of field.

We didn't notice any front or back focus tendencies – the lens performed as it should and always hit the mark.
