Still, it's worth adding that the reflex camera Nikkor AF-S 24 mm f/1.8G ED didn't perform in this category better and its behavior was significantly worse.

Astigmatism, understood as an average difference between horizontal and vertical MTF50 function values, amounts to 20.4% and it is a significant value, notably weaker than astigmatism level of the reflex camera Nikkor AF-S 1.8/24G.
When it comes to out-of-focus areas they look very nice for a wide angle lens. Light spread in the circles is even but you can notice onion ring bokeh which stemms most probably from many aspherical elements in the construction. We also didn't notice any special problems with the rim of the circle and mechanical vignetting was bothersome only in the closest area of the maximum relative aperture.
