Astigmatism, understood as an average difference between horizontal and vertical MTF50 function values, amounted to 14.3%. It's a value that you can call medium but it does approach high levels. After attaching the teleconverter astigmatism decreases slightly, amounting to 11.2%.

When it comes to out-of-focus areas everything looks just fine. The appearance of defocused circles is very nice, without any heterogeneities or any accented brighter rim. As if it wasn't enough, also mechanical vignetting is kept firlmy in check, being visible only at the maximum relative aperture. A round of applause!
