Cons: Large, heavy, no simple way to use filters, expensive
Pros: Very sharp in center, very good sharpness until the furthest corners. Low CA, manageable vignetting, great build quality, very good flare resistance. The shots at 11mm are very difficult to do well, but are amazing when they come together.
Summary: After reading the review, I am a bit surprised by some of the findings so I wanted to comment on my real-world use. First of all, the lens is expensive, but not in relation to the unique shots you can take and in comparison to Canon's long lenses. Also, the CA is quite manageable and only appears in the corners, even wide open at 11mm. Distortion at 11mm is a bit high, but considering it's not a fisheye, it's impressively low. Finally, on the work against bright light/flare, this hasn't been my experience at all. I can shoot straight into the sun with almost no flare or no flare. It's only when the sun is at an angle outside the frame does it show up, and even then, it's not easy to get the lens to flare.
