Cons: Very little to criticize.
Pros: It is one of the most forgiving lenses I have (and that includes the full range of CZ and Hartblei Zeiss). Extremely durable and sharp throughout its entire range. A definite must-have for anyone in the scientific/biological field - and an absolute stunning combination with a Metz 15 ringflash. I frequently photograph agricultural pests and never had a single complaint. Bokeh is absolutely superb - and although I'm not a "people professional" some of the results taken with this lens is simply awesome.
Summary: One of the best value for money lenses on the market. Performance is excellent on both full frame as well as APS-C. I frequently operate in very dusty conditions in the Free State Province in South Africa as well as the wet conditions encountered on the East Coast. This lens is proven to be durable and reliable under harsh conditions.

Cons: Really slow AF, quite heavy, no focus limiter.
Pros: Excellent sharpness even wide open. Delicious bokeh. Natural colours. Good build quality.
Summary: 180mm is a quite extreme focal distance for macro photography. Be aware that you have a very shallow depth of field. If you can handle that it's an excellent lens for a good price. Never used it as a tele lens - the AF is too slow.

Cons: Lethargic AF. Some LoCA. Not weather resistant. No full time manual focus.
Pros: Full frame. Very sharp even wide open at any distance. Very low axial CA. It's one of the cheapest tele-macro lenses.
Summary: It'a a great macro lens for bugs if you don't mind manual focus.
