Cons: No focusing motor so it doesn't work on cheaper bodies, on my D300 AF is fast but focusing ring turns under your fingers, small body so there is no space to hold it well.
Pros: Sharp, images have that "pop" that even 2.8 zooms don't give me. Great focal length on DX, good build, small, light.
Summary: I love this lens, even made a mistake of selling it when I got Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8 but bought another one again. Great for travel and everyday. Really quality lens in a small package. Ideal focal length on a DX for me.

Cons: Very soft everywhere @ f/2.8 and the bokeh is not so good.
Pros: Built like a tank. Feels very solid. Quite wide on FX and film.
Summary: A good, light prime lens for wide FX work and a decent street lens for DX when you have a good amount of light to work with. Would pick up a Nikkor 28mm if having the wide field of view at 20mm is not important to you.

Cons: Distortion, although linear, near the corners and sides.
Pros: Sharp from f2.8, very sharp from 5.6 to f11
Summary: Really a nice lens especially when used on DX. I use in mainly on FX with a D700 and I am really happy with it.
