In 1997 Canon launched an EF 24 mm f/1.4L USM lens on the market. With such parameters, that device was a real treat for many professional photographers. Eleven years later Canon decided to present its successor. Today we would like to present our review of the Canon EF 24 mm f/1.4L II USM lens which we tested with EOS 50D and EOS-a 1Ds MkIII cameras. According to dpreview.com, Sony Japan has just informed that all existing examples of the Sony NEX E 16 mm f/2.8 lens for its NEX system are non-production samples. This applies in particular to lenses present at the press conference in Croatia were we carried out our sample photos.

Many different zoom lenses for amateur photographers are available on the market – you can even say we are spoiled for choice.
