Viltrox AF 35 mm f/1.7 Air - Introduction

Among them you can find a very interesting Air series, consisting of small, lightweight primes (each construction weighs less than 200 grams), equipped with autofocus. Currently, they are offered as Fujifilm X, Nikon Z, and Sony E mount variant. What's more, producers decided to be competitive when it comes to aperture fastness and, despite a moderate weight and physical dimensions, they are able to offer an aperture as fast as f/1.7.

It's also worth mentioning the fact that the Air series has been developed simultaneously in the full frame segment. So far, they have launched the 20, 45, and 50 mm models. As if it wasn't enough, on 19th September 2025 we saw a night launch of two really wide angle models. That day two Air lenses were showed – the full frame 4/14, and the 2.8/9, designed to cooperate with APS-C sensors.
