Cons: Not exactly the smallest lens, a bit above average build but does not disappoint, the tripod foot is a simple mechanism, either tight and doesn\'t move or spins freely all over the place. Image stabilization isn\'t the greatest. Focus motor ring isn\'t linear which I never got used to. Zoom lock at the widest end only. Not exactly a cheap lens. Missing sync-IS from olympus pro lineup. Needs enough light to achieve great quality of moving subjects, this amount of light may not be a regularity there where you live.

Pros: Great range, still rather a portable compact size and weight in comparison to FF lenses, nice optical quality at the long end (the only end I care about for the most part). Takes 1.4x reasonably well even wide open (with some limitations in contrasty situations when it\'s better to stop down) for improved framing and background separation and a bit of extra detail compared to cropping. Reasonable amount of throw on the zoom ring. Great close-up capabilities for macro. Quick AF imho.

Summary: Overall a nice lens capable of nice shots, with good enough light all that matters is the photographer\'s skill. tip: I get clearly better IS performance disabling the built-in IS and using only the IBIS on em1-mk2 and om-1. Including the long end. Hence the lacking IS is not really a concern for me.
