Makro lenses of class 100 mm are so popular instruments that they can be found in the offer of practically every manufacturer. Until now we have already managed to test Tamron 2.8/90, Tokina 2.8/100 and Sigma 2.8/105. Canon 2.8/100 and Sony 2.8/100 are still waiting in the queue, but now we decided to test the Micro Nikkor AF-S VR 105 mm f/2.8G IF-ED. The only instrument in this group equipped in optical image stabilisation (VR). The product of Nikon is the most expensive lens of all the above mentioned. Is its high price caused by the application of the image stabilisation? Or is it the result of exquisite optical properties? You will find out reading the next chapters.
