Cons: -Very large lens, especially with the hood -Difficult to manual focus at 1.4 on an SLR
Pros: -Amazing value for money -Good optical quality -Well damped
Summary: It’s got an ok build, and focusing can be difficult, but at the price you can get these at nothing really competes. If you don’t need autofocus I’d highly recommend this lens.

Cons: Alas my example is not sharp at even F5.6. F1.4 to F2.0 it is simply woeful, appalling actually :( Bokeh is awful.
Pros: None!
Summary: Obviously from positive reviews elsewhere I must have a dismal example of this lens. Caveat Emptor. I will never buy another Samyang lens. Try as I might I cannot any longer bring myself to put on my camera.... It really is that e'ffing useless!

Summary: A couple of things I will mention. First off, the image quality is fantastic. Second, stunning clarity and contrasts. And finally, excellent price range. I would say this is the best lens from Samyang/Rokinon. (You all know Rokinon sells Samyang's lenses) I would recommend it to my fellow photoraphers.

Cons: - a bit too large - not very contrasty at f1.4
Pros: - nicely damped focus ring - build quality very ok for that price - very good image quality above f2.8
Summary: I recommend this lens for everyone who want an ultra large aperture lens but don't want to spend too much money for it!

Cons: Wide open (1.4) edge of frame is pretty soft. Large distortion. Some chromatic aberration.
Pros: Price. Very comfortable focus ring. Very sharp from f2 on both center and edge.
Summary: All the cons of this lens are present in other fast 35mm lenses that cost three times as much as this one. If you can live without auto focus - go for it. Very sharp from f2 and solidly built. Mind that f1.4 and f2.0 shallow depth of field makes it very difficult to almost impossible to focus through viewfinder, need to use live view.
