According to dpreview.com, Sony Japan has just informed that all existing examples of the Sony NEX E 16 mm f/2.8 lens for its NEX system are non-production samples. This applies in particular to lenses present at the press conference in Croatia were we carried out our sample photos.

We have the opportunity to show you the gallery of sample shots from Leica V-LUX 20. All presented pictures were taken at Sharpness level in camera set to lowest value and the noise reduction was off.

Samyang 14 mm f/2.8 ED IF Aspherical MC was announced in September 2009. A month later, we presented the full test which showed that the lens has big problems with vignetting and work against bright light, and bahave poorly on the edge of a full frame. After our test, the company decided to introduce improvements. Now we received the new version of the lens, in which name the UMC symbol appeared (it indicates new antireflection coatings).
