Samyang 14 mm f/2.8 ED IF Aspherical MC was announced in September 2009. A month later, we presented the full test which showed that the lens has big problems with vignetting and work against bright light, and bahave poorly on the edge of a full frame. After our test, the company decided to introduce improvements. Now we received the new version of the lens, in which name the UMC symbol appeared (it indicates new antireflection coatings). In the era of APS-C sensors a 20 mm instrument became an equivalent of a classic 35 mm lens.
