Cons: None for the price.
Pros: Great lens for taking portraits of children.
Summary: I purchase this a few years ago to capture images of my grandchildren, The focal length is about right, I have some generally more highly regarded \"portrait\" lenses, but I had nothing AF at 50mm; the distance is important, They seem more comfortable at 50mm than with me further away. MF lenses are about useless as the little beggars move to quickly.

Cons: nothing
Pros: high sharpness, high contrast, nice bokeh, stopped down to f5,6 best results without CA's, one of the best lenses, Pentax ever has built
Summary: professional lens for highest performed photos in all situations, use it for astrophotography, too

Cons: plastic build
Pros: no chromatic aberrations
Summary: splendid, much more better than canon and nikon

Cons: No hood delivered, pricey. The autofocus tends to hunt especially in low-light situations.
Pros: Decent sharpness wide open, from f/2,8 on very sharp. Great contrast already at f/1,8! Nice colors. The smooth bokeh is a pleasure. No problems with CA's. Small dimensions, lightweight ( 122 g).
Summary: This is a nice lens, very compact and fine image quality. Nevertheless it could be a tad cheaper.

Cons: Soft at f1,8 - 2,5, sometimes focus-hunting, noisy
Pros: Fast, small, lightweight, sharp from f2,8 up
Summary: A decent lens for the price, if you crave for fast prime, no need to hesitate, however it is not top-notch, it could definitely be sharper and could focus faster and more acurate.
