Cons: Unpleasant optical behaviour in the range of most usable apertures at the range f/5.0....f/7.1 - the strong field curvature and I get dramatic decreasing of the resolution in areas about 2/3 distance between centre and edge. Either it's faulted optical design or bad quality control at the factory.

Pros: Extremely light weight and compact size. Very nice lens hood. Good optical quality at open aperture f/2.8

Summary: Mix of impressions - good lens at open aperture, but comes to be bad where 2 stops down.

    Cons: Not f1.8

Pros: Fast accurate focus Tiny great build quality Perfect size for keeping a A7RII small walking around Sharp across the frame even wide open

Summary: Many seem to not pay much attention to this lens but are missing the boat. It is the smallest and lightest option for a full frame A7 series yet affords superb optical results. Excellent Zeiss type color rendition, instant to focus and sharp wide open but razor sharp stopped down to f4 for landscapes. I consider this one of the lenses one should certainly have in their collection
