User profile: Amateur
Cons: Not resistant to condensation - my only lens to develop mold.
Pros: Great for the price
Summary: I've used this on a Rebel 300D in bright sunlight for taking shots of race cars at 1/2000sec & got outstanding results. Also for portraits with a 580 EX Flash with excellent results.

Owner since: 2 years
Price: CHF 250
User profile: Amateur
Cons: Hunt focusing - very slow. Also seemed to require high ISO / low shutter speed to get pictures. Not focused well above 200mm
Pros: 70-300mm on a 1.6x crop camera is a great telephoto.
Summary: I sold this lens rencently. Poor optical quality and slow focusing. I would not buy it again
