Cons: Unfortunately expensive especially as it requires a comparable Zeiss UV filter (that is also expensive). I specifically mention the latter as I find that the choice of protective filter has a direct impact on the performance of this lens (as is the case with the 135 mm CZ as well). Pity that it is not water and dust proof. That is certainly an engineering oversight.

Pros: Extremely sharp even when wide open. Certainly one of the preferred lenses to retain perspective of the subject. By far the best lens for forensic work in the agricultural, mechanical engineering, civil construction and mining industries. Extremely well built and rugged.

Summary: The performance of this lens is easily comparable to that of Leica, Schneider and Hasselblad glass. In some cases, even better! A "never regret to have" lens.

Cons: Super sharp and high contrast from wide open. In that point you can't compare this lens for example to SIGMA 50F1.4HSM. Beautiful Bokeh.

    Pros: Slow AF

Summary: This lens is expensive but it have the value for it.
