Cons: only 1:2 magnification, on the heavy side, price
Pros: Outstanding sharpness, rendering, colors, contrast and Build. Just one of the best lenses for full frame ever made.
Summary: Buy it if you get one and forget about the price. The new Milvus is optically the same.

Cons: The Price Manual Focus Lens
Pros: Outstanding Build Quality. The focussing ring is very smooth. Even the sunshade build quality and locking mechanism are impressive. Image quality is stunning as soon as the image is in Focus (might not be such easy at close distance with F/2 with manual focus and very thin depth of focus...)

Cons: Can't think of anything much. Sometimes bokeh can be a bit fussy, but this rarely happens. "Only" renders to half life size.
Pros: A stop faster than most at f2. Amazing sharpness and contrast from wide open. Lovely focus action and build quality
Summary: One of the best lenses there is and technically almost flawless. All the usual Zeiss character but with no spherical aberration and sharp from f2. It is easy to focus with no focus shift at all and makes a fantastic close up lens as you would expect, but doubles as a cracking portrait lens on full frame.
