Cons: Maybe a bit heavy, but that is to be expected The main and maybe only issue for me is that the Infoscreen interferes with astro photography and IR-photography on full spectrum cameras, even when the screen is switched off ;-(. Even with UV-IR filter behind it. while filming, closing down the diaphragm doesn\'t works gradually but in small steps. Nikkor Plena does better.

Pros: A lot: a lot of lens for the money - very sharp and contrasty across the frame ( Nikon Z8/Z7), close call with the Nikkor Plena, better than the Samyang 135 mm f2. - a bit more vignetting on a Nikkor version compared to the Sony version. Differences in the filter stacks of the camera, you can\'t compare results a cross the board using different cameras - bokeh, no oignon rings or outlining, quite neutral, great at any distance - great for astro with a normal camera, tiny bit of astigmatism - flaring better than most 135 mm, (didn\'t witness the Sony version) - the images are just gorgeous, not only clinical sharp - build quality ( don\'t get fooled by the floating elements that shifts when the camera is OFF) - close focus, great for insect photography as well, butterflies/dragon flies - great fo Brennizer panorama wide open (bokeh at a distance)

Summary: Great lens, Zeiss Otus/Sigma Art/Plena/Sony GM quality for half the price. Sigma 135 mm f1.4 would have had my preference but I use Nikon Bodies and adapting lenses calculated to Sony filterstacks is not a good idea, at least below 50 mm.
