1. Introduction

Currently (October 2013) the Fujinon XF 14 mm f/2.8 R is a lens with the widest angle of view in the whole Fujifilm line-up, giving a field of view on a level of 90 degrees. Although the X system is relatively young our choice of lenses is quite rich, mainly because of the support from devices produced by independent companies. Owners of mirrorless Fujifilm cameras can use the Zeiss Tout 2.8/12 or the Samyang 2.0/16. In the near future you can also expect the Fujinon XF 10-24 mm to hit the shelves.

Before it happens, though, you can take a closer look at optical and mechanical properties of the Fujinon XF 14 mm f/2.8 R – enjoy your lecture!

We would like to thank Fujifilm Poland for lending us the tested equipment.
