The focusing mechanism is silent and very quick. Running through the whole distance scale and setting the focus takes just 0.3-0.4 of a second which is a very good result.

We also have no reservations concerning the accuracy of the autofocus. In studio conditions we didn’t have one single miss. What’s more, while cooperating with the Fuji X-E1, the lens didn’t have any front or back focus tendencies.
