Cons: The filter size is large and therefore a little expensive and restricted.

Pros: My example is very good with just a little vignetting but it really depends on the subject. I have it mounted to a Sony A77 and I really like the results. Build quality is very good and the optical quality comes a close second. It has a wide focal length.

Summary: I bought it new for a very good price, I don't think I would have bought it for the full recommended retail price. More than satisfied with my purchase.

Cons: Some CA at 3.5 in corners. No after 4.5. Could be less distortion in corners at 10-12 mm.

Pros: Fast and accurate focus. Sharp in center even open at 3.5 at 10 mm. Very reasonable sharpness in corners after 7.1. Overall picture quality better compared to Sigma 10-20/4.5-5.6 and Sony 11-18/4.5-5.6.

Summary: I bought it instead of Sigma 10-20/4.5-5.6 with good discount price. For such price very good wide zoom lens for crop cameras. When buy try to check a few copied due bad Sigma quality control. My copy is really perfect. For higher price check Tokina 11-16/2.8, but for me zoom range is not enough

Cons: Corner muddiness at widest focal lengths, i.e. 10-12mm.

Pros: Vibrant colours; excellent contrast; consistent centre sharpness and reliable auto-focus accuracy.

Summary: Disappointing corner results seen at full resolution, although a big improvement by f5.6 and from 13mm or so. I've gained little or nothing from the constant aperture and the lens overall compares badly with the Olympus ZD 11-22mm lens it effectively replaced. One of the better options for Pentax though. The discounted price was a major factor for me and I feel the RRP is excessive.

Cons: Serious vignetting at 10mm no matter the aperture, but slightly better stopped down, but not much.

Pros: One of the widest lenses on the market for DX format. Constant aperture. One of the best close-focus distances amongst these lenses as well. If you're at 10pm and stopped down, your depth of field is so deep that you can literally have your subject two inches from the glass!

Summary: If you understand it's limitations, and know how to correct them in your software, this lens is great!

Cons: corners are too soft at 10mm

Pros: sharp at 14mm~20mm, and center area at 10mm

Summary: I noticed that other people paid $800 ~ 950 for it. At that price I'd say it's not worth. But me I paid $650 so it's not that bad.

Cons: Very Soft at f3.5 Doesn't improve a lot until f8

    Pros: Build quality

Summary: I found this lens to be very soft. Maybe i just purchased a poor copy, but its typical of Sigma quality control. You never know what your going to get. Pity, as I really wanted to like this lens. Ive learnt my lesson, never buy sigma. Stick with a Cannon or Nikon instead.
