Summary: Outstanding sharpness and contrast across the frame. Extremely low distortion is optically corrected and does not rely on in-camera or post-processing profiles to fix as many other wide angle lenses do. Build quality is typically superb Zeiss. Focus and aperture control are smooth and accurate. AF is fast and quiet.
